Skin Relief Salve
Calendula flowers have powerful healing properties – especially when it comes to relieving itchy skin. This salve was created by diffusing dry calendula flowers in grapeseed oil for one month, while it absorbed the sun’s energy. Once the oil was ready, it was combined with Bees Wax and Shea Butter and was poured into its jar for solidifying. Use this to treat eczema or dry and itchy skin. Scoop with the spoon provided and apply to skin 2-3 times/day.
Sleep Tincture
The herbal formula used to create this tincture is called Suan Zao Ren Tang. This is a heart nourishing formula that helps to quiet the mind and provide a night of restful sleep. The herbs were diffused in alcohol for one month. Tinctures will commonly be made with an alcohol base to ensure long shelf life, as well as highest strength in extracting the herbs’ properties. Take this formula nightly, one hour before bed time if you suffer from insomnia, or a restless mind.
Facial Oil
This blend was created by combining essential oils that benefit the skin, when it comes to anti-aging. The carrier oil of choice was Jojoba oil, keeping sensitive skin in mind. Jojoba oil is great for preventing or diminishing signs of aging. The essential oils blended in this delicious smelling facial oil have been shown to decrease fine lines, brighten and tighten the skin. Some oils were added to enhance mood and lower stress.
Bruise Spray
The Bruise-Be-Gone Spray uses a combination of essential oils that have been known to improve circulation, and generate cells to decrease healing time. Bruises are stagnations of blood, and with this blend you can experience better blood flow and eliminate bruises more quickly. Spray on the area of bruising 2-3 times/day and give it a nice massage to help work the oils deeper into the skin.
**Note: this blend has a blue tint to it, and is recommended to use with darker clothing to prevent stains.
